SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS AND ACTIVITIES
The special celebrations and activities are organized in the hostel for all round development of the children. To arrange these programs our main goal was to create and build SELF CONFIDENCE among the children and give them awareness about the current issues.
Holi (festival of colours)
was celebrated on 29th of March 2021.Children enjoyed with colours, water balloons and special lunch.
Easter program
was celebrated on 4th of April 2021. Children participated in the sunrise service with the church congregation for the first time. They joined the Easter celebration service. Children gave dance performances and a special song that was appreciated by all. Children enjoyed Easter lunch withlocal congregation.
Father’s Day
was celebrated on 20th of June 2021. The role and relationship of father was celebrated. Children realized the importance of their fathers and they did connect back home over the phone and expressed their gratitude to their fathers.
National Festival Celebration
On 15th of August 2021 Independence Day was celebrated with hostel children in a special way. They were told that as our country is celebrating its freedom likewise if you can have a vision and work towards a bright future then you can also have freedom from poverty and everything else that comes along with it.
Teacher’s Day
was celebrated on 5th of September 2021. On this special day children played as teachers. They presented a cultural program. The confidence of children was so good that they conducted the whole stage and coordinated the event by themselves. Children made thank you cards for teachers, appreciated them and gave them chocolates as love gifts. The event was concluded by a rich refreshment.
